Join us in Chicago - April 22 - 25, 2010Chicago Symphony Stage

All Masters of Music groups will receive the following:

  • 90 minute private clinic with one of the professional musicians
  • Participation in two master class opportunities for each student (chosen from 4 to 6 different offerings)
  • Tickets to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra concert
  • Opportunity to attend the Behind the Music session prior to the CSO concert on Friday
  • 25 minute performance time on the stage at Chicago Symphony Center
  • An opportunity to perform for 40 minutes during an afternoon charity concert at Chicago Symphony Center (one band, one choir, and one orchestra will be selected from the groups during the event)
  • Dinner, awards, and entertainment at the Gala Awards Ceremony
  • Written and taped comments of your performance
  • A professional recording of your performance
  • An opportunity for two jazz groups from the attending schools to perform at the Gala Awards Ceremony (by audition only – to be sent in with your initial application)
  • Professional entertainment provided at the Gala Event by Jazz at Lincoln Center Essentially Ellington staff
  • Lunch at the CSO provided for the three groups performing during the charity concert
  • Concert tickets to the charity concert
  • Required attendance during your performance session (session A or session B) to hear the other groups during your performance session
  • Changing rooms and storage facilities at the CSO
  • On-site coordination from the Masters of Music staff
